Corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix it in public.
Accuracy matters more than being first. A correction is made on the page where the error appeared, noted on that page, and logged here with the date and what changed. Nothing is silently edited.

How corrections work
Four stepsYou flag it
Send the page, what it says, and the record that shows otherwise.
We check the record
We compare your request against agendas, minutes, video, filings and other public documents.
We fix the page
The original page is corrected and carries a dated note explaining the change.
We log it here
Every correction is listed below, so readers can see what changed and when.

Responses from public bodies
Published alongside the finding- If you serve on a body covered here, you can send a response to any finding. It is published with the story it addresses, in your words.
- Corrections backed by records are made promptly. A disagreement over interpretation is noted as a response, not a correction.
- Spelling, dates and titles are fixed as soon as they are confirmed and still logged here.

See something wrong?
Tell us the page, what it says, and point us to the record that shows what is correct. A link to an agenda, minutes, a meeting video timestamp or a document works best.
We review every request and log any correction on this page.
